Community Heroes

It’s no secret that the Event & Live Entertainment Industry is in crisis

For an industry that contributes over $111 billion to the Australian economy annually and employs more Aussies than even mammoths like the Mining Industry – we are only hurting ourselves and future generations by continuing to let it fall to the wayside.

So, let’s stand up! Nothing can bring people together in celebration, healing and expansion like Music, Art, Poetry and Performance. It’s what makes us human.

When our nation is struck in moments of pain or difficulty, whether raging bushfires, poverty or social injustice – musicians, comedians, dancers, artists, and their crew are the first to put their hands up to help repair and heal.

Now it’s our turn to hold the hands that lift us up every day. To come together as a community and show our artists and creative industries professionals what they mean to us, that we value them, and want live entertainment to return to the Central Coast as soon as possible.

The 2021 Coast Life Event is here to drive a message of community, healthy environments and appreciation of the unique magic of living by the water – with the voices of artists to amplify the heart of our joy. Creating opportunities for creatives of all walks to showcase their work and re-connect with our community!

We’re aiming to raise $40,000+ to pay the following creatives working on and at the 2021 Coast Life Festival:

Musicians Visual artists Indigenous cultural performers Comedians Poets Writers Young/emerging and senior event professionals Graphic Designers Videographers Editors Directors Photographers Digital designers Production crew (Sound & Lighting) Installation artists Florists and Green artists

YOU can be a Community Hero today! A donation of any size is not only helping us reach our goal, but sending the message that you LOVE & APPRECIATE your arts community.
